Yellow Brick presents STEP 27 | yes!yes!yes!no!no! with Swiss artist Olivia Wiederkehr. The event consists of a street performance on Thursday, and a picnic in Nea Filadelfia Park on Sunday.

For the performance on Thursday, two dancers will start at Yellow Brick and follow a route in the streets of Nea Ionia, as indicated below. This is the second part of a previous work by Wiederkehr that deals with the issue of personal freedom. The artist has written a personal statement, which she then used to create two costumes for the performance. The two dancers will activate these costumes as they walk the streets.

The performance evening will be followed by the picnic on Sunday, where the public is invited to participate with food, drink and discussion. Participants are encouraged to bring their own food and blanket, and follow safety instructions for the coronavirus.
