Yellow Brick artist-run space presents the latest event in its STEP series, which consists of an ongoing string of collaborations with resident artists and other partners in its space in Nea Ionia. For STEP 26, Yellow Brick organised a group exhibition with works by Eleni Fountoulaki, Kostas Tsioukas, Manos Tsichlis and Vasiliki Sifostratoudaki, which was part of the Death in Athens festival. Set to had taken place in March, the festival was organised by over 20 independent art spaces in Athens and was cancelled due to the lockdown. Conceived as a "performative event", STEP 26 explores the limits and potential of domesticity through everyday practices and experiences. The exhibition spills out of the main gallery space into the neighbourhood, and artist Kostas Tsioukas will also present a performance on the opening night with guitarist Thodoros Katselis.
